Hey Michi,

I’m glad that Sera is making progress. So far, Connor’s been doing well at school. However, his teacher asked to add an additional day so she can work on him one on one. His problem is his impulsive behavior and sometimes he doesn’t focus enough to listen to what the teacher is asking of him. She believes that with the extra session, he will get better. I really hope so because I want him to start kindergarten this year.

I’m really glad that I have you to talk this with. Sometimes it’s hard to relate to other parents who aren’t dealing with the same issues. Take care!

Sorry! I know the CAPTCHA is evil (I tend to get it wrong too :/ ) but spammers have been crawling my blog so it was a necessary evil.

I am hoping kindergarten will be the solution! She's definitely happy when she gets to be with her friends so more time with her peers may solve a lot. Just hope we survive the "I'm lonely" cries in the meantime...

Tomorrow is her first official day of no school. What will happen now? Are there (free) homeschool co-ops in your area so that she can continue developing socially and keep up her language skills?

Okay, to reiterate: I was agreeing with you because while I am usually great reader who can engage a room of 30 kids for an extended period of time, there are a few Dr. Seuss books I put down after a few pages because they are so ridiculously difficult that they, upon completion, offer no reward for the reader other than pure relief!
