As much as I love the hubby, I can't help but have selfless, no-strings attached love for my child. If I were asked to save both of them when they're drowning, I'd probably opt to save my child because he's helpless and I know the hubby can fend for himself. I know that's not a good analogy but if I really think about it, my son probably rates a little higher than the husband. This doesn't mean that I love my husband less but it's just different since your child came out of you and is a part of you, literally! And the sex frequency after having a child, uhh yeah.. it's totally different since you pretty much have to schedule it. I'm astounded that that piece was written by an honest-to-goodness mother.
